    History of a Horse

I am hoping that someone out there can help.  I bought a 4 year old bay gelding from David Lamb, Gordonsville, VA in March 2000.  At the time I purchased the gelding, I was going to use him as a trail horse.  Mr. Lamb originally told me he had bought the horse in Oklahoma, but later when I asked who he had bought the horse from, he would not reveal the seller.  About a year later, the gelding was schooled in barrel racing and has turned out to be true 4-D champion.  The gelding has a brand on his left rump - TS.  I have queried the AQHA to see if they could help, but unless I know the dam or sire, they were of no help.  I have looked up registered brands but could not find any TS brand.  Since I was originally told he was bought in Oklahoma, I contacted the NBHA in Oklahoma and they knew nothing.  When I was in Augusta, GA at the World NBHA show, a guy approached me and indicated that he knew the brand and he thought it was from Georgia; however, Georgia NBHA had nothing.

Since someone went to all the trouble to brand the gelding, I would think that he once belonged to a ranch or possibly had some kind of registered breeding.  If anyone knows the brand, I would appreciate a response.
