hey all, 

Here in Wisconsin we are supposed to be getting a snow storm this weekend. Not only that  but before then it is supposed to rain and turn to ice. I did normal daily chores in the heat wave of 32 degrees. It is my husband's birthday today so his mother and I will be making him a birthday dinner. He is 25 (what an old man... LOL).

Our filly sure is filling out she has huge hind quarters and good shoulders for not doing much since summer. She is looking more and more like a halter horse. Which is good for the show season, however she is still as fast as she ever was and I am still convinced she will make me a great barrel horse!!! She has wonderful breeding and although she is high strung she has a good mind.

She has made an attempt to be a friendly horse. Every time I am in the pasture she runs over to me for affectionate rubs and scratches. She comes to the fence and talks to me when ever I am around so I think she is begining to like me.
