An Equestrian Event to
Fight Cancer
Donate to a Cause Worth Fighting for
During the weekend of October 5th, 6th and 7th - Cristina Brooks will be participating in a camping and horseback riding event to fight cancer and aid in the research used to fund the fight to find a cure. This is the last one of its kind sponsored by The American Cancer Society. During the three-day event the riders are asked to raise money by getting pledges or selling luminarias.

There are two ways you can support her in their effort to reach The American Cancer Society's goal for the upcoming event:
1) A general donation in the dollar amount of your choice. Payment can be made thru either Paypal account and/or you may contact Cristina and send a personal check made out to: The American Cancer Society. The donations are completely tax deductible.
2) You may purchase a Luminaria ($10 each) - it is a personalized bag with a tea light in it that will be illuminated with the masses at a special ceremony in memory of someone who has lost the battle with cancer or in honor of someone who is fighting or has won their battle. We will light the Luminaria bags during our event at 9pm on Saturday, Oct. 6th in a special ceremony recognizing those whose names are on the bags.
