Yeah, it's been awhile and I've been neglecting this blog. So, I figured that since I was on vacation I would pop in and post everything that has been going on lately. Well, we have a new farrier, and he did really well with the horses. The thing that sold me the most was when he was shaping Rio's fronts, Rio rested his head on the farrier's back and sighed.

So, all the horses are trimmed and happy, and I am getting my butt out to ride in a little while. Vacation has been vacation. For me, I don't really go anywhere on my vacations, I tend to try to get as much accomplished around here as possible in terms of mowing, fence mending, winterizing, etc. So I don't really get a vacation like going to Disneyworld or anything. Which is fine by me. I look at a lot of that stuff as a waste of time and money anyway. I'd much rather go trail riding and hang with the horses than spend my time away from them and worrying that everything will still be all good when i return.

So, I guess I am the human version of herdbound. LOL.

Alright, enough about me. Time to get out and ride some horses.

Thank goodness Guinness keeps the swelling down.
