About Me My husband and I are raising my 11 year old grandson as our daughter-in-law, his mother, sustained 3rd degree burns over 90% of her body on June 26th in a gas well fire in Wyoming. She is here at the University of Colorado. She will be kept in a coma until they have skin grafted on all of her body. She is stable; but, her chances are still not good. His Dad, my son, is a horse rancher, outfitter and guide in Wyoming. We have 3 horses here at our place. I show with several associations at the local open level. I'm starting my 2yr. old filly now and plan to show her in the Spring and retire my gelding from showing. They are both reg.Quarter Horses. He is Impressive bred and Skipper W, she is foundation bred (Doc Bar). I also have a 12 yr. old OTTB mare, I actualy showed her in the novice div. at one of the associations I show with and we got year-end hi-pt in both English and Western, although there was not a lot of competition. I earned 5th in the 19 & over div. with my gelding in another assoc. and 4th overall in yet another.

"Mr. Brown the Horse that Cried"

Hi Everyone,  I don't know where else to get this question answered so thought I'd try this.  In the Horse City.Com newsletter in August there was a story titled "Mr. Brown the Horse that Cried".  Part 2 of that story was supposed to be in the next issue.  I either missed the September issue or there wasn't one, regardless, I have not yet been able to read part 2.  Do any of you know the story I'm talking about?  Or, how I could get to read part 2 of the story.  I envisioned this was a question/answer forum and it turns out it's a blog?  I have no experience with a blog, so this may not be the best way to get my question answered.  Thanks so much,  Roni
