Alright, so first blog on here, hopefully this website will answer all my questions about the horse species.  Doubtful, but we can try.  I actually just sold my horse, Muffin, to a little girl in the barn because she will ride her less hard than I will, at the level that I'm at.  Muffin was having some real troubles with arthritis at the beginning of the show season that kept us from doing very much at all.  I knew that at the end of the show season I was going to have to sell her anyways, because I needed to move to a younger horse, but because of her arthritis we decided to sell her early, so that we didn't pass up on a good decision and hurt her more.  I'm actually really glad that I sold her now, because she's much more happy and relaxed, plus she's completely sound.  An added bonus - the owners are away alot at the cabin, and since she's better off being ridden....I get to keep riding her a little!!  Which is more amazing than I ever thought.  As soon as I get a job I'm getting another horse, one that's younger.  I'm looking forward to it alot, and have one gorgeous dun stallion that I just can't seem to forget about.  Hopefully I'll get to post a picture of Muffin on here, as well as the stallion...HQH Got Class *Drool*  He's just so handsome, all muscles and shine.  Only problem:  He's a stallion now, and I can't show in Youth classes with a stallion, but I don't want to geld him and not have that same crazy hyper personality.  I know that sometimes if they are gelded late (He's four I think) then they keep some of their stallion tendencies, but you never know.  And he might be way out of my price range.  Eek.
