Well sence im VERY bord right now, i guess ill post a blog about my riding lesson today (sunday july 1st). I rode Thomas (the black horse in my photos) he is a Morgan gelding who is..i think...16.1 hh. Hes a big boy! Well i love riding this horse, hes pretty fun (Oh i ride Saddleseat BTW) Today was my new lesson time, which is 9 am. Ugh! but hey its all good, at least im the first person of the day to ride thomas, so theres a plus! There were only 2 other people in the group because one girl didnt show. Thomas was kinda lazy so i had to use the crop for the first time in a while. We did trotting and catering, ya know just like a regular lesson. Worked on cricles, stright line cuts, and diginal lines, then we did some patterns at the end! oh i love patterns! lol. I had some troble keeping him on the wall the first 2 times doing the pattern (grr!). But the 3rd pattern was the best! He stayed on the wall (i really made sure i made him keep to it) he did a nice canter circle, and he didnt stop this time. But i guess keeping my outside leg glued to his side kinda helped =). Hes a good boy! Well hope i didnt bore you to badly, happy reading! lol.
