I was horse sitting this last weekend, and one of the gelding hates fly spay, what would you do to help him over come the spray???

I wanted to get some feed back on giving horses bute.

Should you give bute to a horse or not?

So its pretty sad, there is a horse at my barn that has been abandoned. Older Thoughbred gelding. Has a tatoo on his lip. Very sweet guy, he owner has NOT paid board, and just left him there. The place where I board are feeding him and trimming his feet, but are losing $$$$ on him. ( he eats the most there) Ive been worming him, and giving him love. I'm haveing a vet come out and float his teeth, and we are going to give him his shots. But he is very lame, and his back bone looks like he could be adjusted, I took him out and he could hardly walk. What can I put him on that not to $$$$,. want to get him back to where he should be!!!! maybe find a home who will love him and give him a life that he should have. I think by law if a boarder has not paid, owner has the right to sell him after so long. Any tips to get him back in good conditon would be great, thanks

We might be moving to Georgia for work, and I will need to board my mare, find a vet and a ferrier. Any help would be great!!!! thanks
