Howdy Everyone,  My Name Is Joy,... I  Love Horses, And  Everything About Them !!!  I am Currently Starting Up A Unique Program Where We Will Be Training MINIATURE HORSES To Assist Persons And Children With "Physical Challenges".  I Myself Have Been "Physically Challenged" Since I Was 2 Yrs. Old, And I  Have Been Training "Service Dogs" For Over 25 Yrs.  BUT... This Past Spring I Started Training My 2 Yr. Old  MINIATURE Filly "Feather" To Help Me With Things That Are Harder For Me To Do.  "Feather" Is Doing AWESOME  At Her New "Job" !!!  She Carries A Small Backpack For Me With things That I Need Throughout The Day,... She Pulls My Electric "Scooter" If My Batteries Go Dead,... She Can Pull My "Scooter" Out Of The Sand If I Get It Stuck,... And Now We Are Working On Her Picking Things Up For Me On Command !!!   I  REALLY BELIEVE IN THIS PROJECT,.... I  KNOW THAT IF MINI HORSES CAN GUIDE THE BLIND, THEN THEY CAN EXCELL AT THIS TOO !!!  When I  Was A Very Sick, Discouraged Child,... Having A Horse To Help Me... Would Have Made Such A Difference In My QUALITY OF LIFE !!!

   We Breed, Raise, Show, and Just Love & Enjoy Our Horses,...!!!  We have BOTH Arabian & Miniature Horses as well as 1  Miniature Spotted Jenny Donkey !!!  We plan in the near future to set up a "Day Camp" type program so those Children, and Adults that are NOT able to own a Horse of their own,.... can spend Quality time with our Miniature and Full sized Horses !!!  I kind of grew up in a Children's Hospital,  and I  know that there are MANY youngsters who would LOVE SUCH A CHANCE !!!  PLEASE if ANY of you have done this type of project, or worked on one, or even know of someone who has one,...
