Sorry everyone that I haven't posted on here for quite some time.  I had a bit of trouble getting in.  And I just have been so busy with wedding plans and work has been crazy.  But finally things are beginning to settle down.  I have all my wedding details taken care of thank goodness so now for these last 2 weeks I can just relax and enjoy myself (wedding day is October 18th).  It is coming up so quickly.

 Pilot has changed quite a bit in this time also.  He is getting more and more handsome everyday.  I have been working on growing is mane and tail out and getting some more muscle on him and not looking so flabby.

 We have built such a strong bond that grows more and more everyday.  He greets me when I come into the barn everymorning.  And even today as I was driving my car past the field that he grazes in he came running up to the fence to just say hello.  He is so sweet.   I just love him so much.  He always seems to know when I am down or just not right and comforts me through those times.  And he knows when I am happy and just want to play.

 I am working on teaching him a new trick which is to bring me his own supplies.  He always likes to put things in his mouth and play with his mouth so I thought that I could put it to something useful and unique.  He is so smart and catching on quite quickly.

 I promise everyone I will have some new pics of him up soon.  He is getting fuzzy now growing in his winter coat.  He is so cute with it too.

Well this is my first week with my very first horse.  And I am loving every bit of it.  It became official on the evening of July 5, 2007.  A long 23 year wait.  He is a huge people horse and a big puppy dog basically.  I will get some lovely photos put up of him very soon.  

 He requires quite a bit of training.  Currently he is not used to the english style of riding and just a plain snaffle bit.  I will be sure to keep all of you updated on his training.

 I have been riding for about 13 years now for the same trainer, but have been a horse lover since I was about 3 years old and saw my first pony at the State Fair.
