well it has been along time i went to pay the guy for the mare & he decided he didn't want to sell her after i rode her for a month he said he was going to keep her now that she had some riding done on a daily basis so now I'm still looking for a good horse to buy so my husband & i can ride together instead of riding one horse all the time but on a better note dude my gelding & i have been getting along a lot better & i can ride him by myself now so that pretty cool i haven't got to ride much though i might have to have my gallbladder took out & have been real sick lately so how have u been & Ur horses anything new.

dude is the only gelding i had that is the one my husband always rides ican't ride him thats why i bought lilly the mare she is the horse for me so we'll only have the two dude & lilly

Ah nice freezing winds to ride in! ;) Our barn is on top of a hill so the winters are .... cold. heheehee. The wind comes whipping across like mad! But in the summer it helps because we do keep a fairly nice breeze.
I envy your cold winds right now!
Although, I do have to say today was quite nice, I think the high was only about 89 or 90. Which is nice compared to the past few days!

yeah she is great she does what i want her to & ground work has never been so easy as it is with her she lunges good & she seems to have no problem with anything i do she loves to go for rides & so do i so it works out real good for us my gelding is a little jealous but i've been working with him some too so maybe i'll be able to handle him soon & i can take him riding sometimes but when my hubby comes in off the rode we ride together & the two horses do real well together i think dude my gelding is in love lol

sorry it took me so long to get back to u I've been riding that mare & just a few days ago i lost my dog Bandit who mint a great deal to my family & i i bet it is pretty where u live & thanks for writing back on that

My filly is 1 1/2 so it will be another year or so before I can ride her. But I am starting her in the round pen on the longe line.

Hey there, Just popped in! Wow just read your blog. I HATE people like that. I think that's part of the reason I'm no longer working for a Vet. I finally burned out and quit caring about my job and the animals. Hated myself for a long time and finally brought myself to the point of quitting the first and only job I'd had for the past ten years!
That was 6 yrs ago now and I still don't think I could go back to it. Sad, cuz there was so much to love about the job!
That's bummer about the English trainer moving, we are so blessed here to find just about a trainer for just about any discipline within an hour or so.
Of course I don't think that compares to that lovely picture of you on the BEACH! *jealous*
