Happy New Year Everyone!!!

     I haven't been by in some time.  The busy holiday season.  In Nov. I flew to VA for my 30th year class reunion.  It was so much fun.  Hated to leave, it was great to see the old stomping grounds again.  First of Dec. I flew to Kansas City MO to visit my huband for several days.  He is a tour bus driver, and he had a long stop there so it was worth going.  We had a great time together.  The tour pays for the hotel, the Hyatt, not to bad.  And of course it was decorated for Christmas.  And I got to see snow for the first time since 1995!  It was a couple of inches, but boy did I have fun watching it fall, walking in it, and even made a little bitty snow man!

     I got to take a ride on "Batman" my husband's bus.  Man those are some really nice buses.  When I left there it was probably in the 30's, and when I landed back in Orlando, it was almost 80, and humid!!!  What a difference.

     I am still taking care of my Dad, and he is doing pretty good.  Oh he has his day's, and always will.  His ability to get around was getting worse, and I finally got him to use walkers, he has two, one for at home, and one with wheels for going out!!!  I feel so much better knowing he is using it at home.  Falling was Really becoming a problem.

     I am working with a little girl, she wants to show Pleasure this year at our local club.  She is a good little horsewomen!!  She is going to show my older mare, she has lots of time in the arena  and she loves kids, so I think they will do real well.  She is a very quick study, and loves to do Everything, groom, tack up, feed, and even lunge!!  She even worked with my younger horse, even reared up on her and she just handled it like a pro!!  I guess the "kids have no fear" thing!

     I hope this will make me slow down make time for me & my horses.  Learn to let my Dad have his own time too.  I NEED to horse around.  I hope to hook up with a friend that drives, and start working my young horse again, and get in some prime trail time.  And obstacle work for the fun of it, I LOVE doing that kind of stuff!!
