Falling in Love with a Horse

    Monday, September 7, 2009, 10:59 AM [General]

A lot of people think it's strange to love a horse. I think it's quite easy. They are there and free, yet they allow us to share in their freedom and enter their world if only for a few strides at a time. They may not speak - but they feel and they can sense more than just about any animal I have ever come in contact with. They can sense when you're sad or nervous. They respond to us through there intense ability to sense the world around them. No matter how bad you may feel as you place that saddle on their  back, they will share with you their truly innate sensitivity and freedom with the world around them. And for a few moments you can fuse with the freedom and sensitivity that can only be found through a relationship with a horse.
