I got a Winnteck (spelling???) Saddle and my friend told me that they were not good to use cause it is bad for their back... I had another person tell me they love them. Anyone know anything about this? Also they said stay away from Nylon halters, cause they can't break them if they freak... I don't want her to get hurt but I have alwasy used Nylon halters so I am not sure about this.
OK, so, I personally love a Wintec, very lightweight and comfy. As for nylon halters, well, I use them too, but not for turnout, if I am going to leave a halter on a horse while they are in the field, I'd go with leather, it is true, nylon won't break if the horse gets hung up on something, truthfully. I don't usually leave a halter on a horse in a pasture anyway, it's just too risky, and if you do it because your horse is hard to catch, then spend some time training the horse to be caught in a pasture. Anyway, that's just one persons opinion, and, God knows, horse people all have opinions... HAHA
