His new home with lots of green grass.
Trailer again??
I had to move Ambassador to another barn. I moved him so I can stop on my way home from work, save some gas. Well, anyway, it only took us one hour to get him on the trailer this time. Yeah! some progress. I tried loading him first, he didn't want to. Then the lady who was helping me tried, with no luck. So after "dancing" with him for a little while and just letting him hang out by the trailer, I got back in. As soon as he saw me in there with his feed bucket, he came right in. Well, I'll be! Of course, he really didn't want to go on the trailer. So he was pawing at the mats in there. He unloaded perfectly and went in his new stall with no problems. I will get pictures of him soon to post on here.
Spring Shedding
Well, I know for sure I am putting a blanket on my boy for next winter. I have been grooming him extra everyday and it seems like the winter fur is never going to go away. I get a good pile of hair everytime. Are there any tricks to getting out the winter fuzz any faster? Anyone have any good tips?
A Bath???
Well, my plan was to give Bass a bath the other day, when it was sooo warm. Saturday. Well as soon as he heard the hose near him, he took off! Good thing there is a fence around the whole place! I now have rope burn on my hand, ouch! I really need to figure him out. It is very frustrating, to know that years ago he would've stood still for me while I slowly hosed him off, he didn't even give me a chance to get close to him. Very frustrating. Oh, well, I guess I'll start with a bucket and a sponge!
Parelli
Is anyone going to Parelli this weekend in W.Springfield ma? I hear it's good. I got some tickets and I'm going to go check it out.
