So, I finally got to do some "relaxed" riding around the house yesterday. It coulda been alot more "relaxed" if Frosty hadn't decided it was "be a total brat" day. About the first 10-20 minutes was spent bucking around in circles. I was suprised, she almost got me off once, but I somehow managed to recover. I don't know why she was being such a brat, she was just fine at the roping/barrel practice. Anyway, after she settled a bit it was ok.
I got a bit of a laugh at the sight we got when we came around the corner by the tack barn after we were done. I looked toward the stock tank and what did I see? Keeda standing IN the tank!! She just stood there and neighed at me like "Mommy!! Mommy!! Look at me!!" Then she went to step over the edge to get out and come see me and Frosty and discovered she was "stuck." Then she started squealing up a storm loud enough to wake the dead. So, to get the little idiot out I had to lift one front foot out and set it on the ground, do the same with the other one, pull her up further so I could get her hind legs out, and repeat the process with her back legs. *shakes head* After she got out she ran to Frosty, sniffed noses with her, and then took off runnin and buckin and squealin all the way to the other horses at the end of the pasture.
Anyway, my back and inner thighs are so stiff from riding for the 2-3 hours I did yesterday. You never notice how much you use your thighs and calves when you ride until you've been off for about 5 months and come back for a 3 hour ride, lol. I could seriously go for a full body massage. =p

Haha, trade friends?
