I worked with Blaze today, he did okay, but not nearly as good as
last time. Can't blame him for it though,we couldn't do much with an inch of
ice on the ground last week.
I also worked with Snip today. He is picking
up his feet really good. He held them up for awhile on his own too, so
that was really good.
Not sure if I'll get out today to work with Tank though, the arena is a mud pit...
We did get the pen ready for the stud pony were getting though. Hopefully we can pick him up tomorrow. That's all for now,
So, I have been working on Tank's stopping, he's doing pretty good. I haven't worked with him in a week though, it is so muddy out there! I really wish it'd dry up. I can't wait to get out there and work with them, they we're doing so good.
Haven't worked with Blaze or Bethany either, same reason. We did work with Marty, Maddy, and Snip though. Found out that Snip doesn't know how to pick up his feet, so I'm working on that. He gets ticked when I pick up his right foot, stomps REAL hard, but his left he's fine. We're working on that though.
I think we're gonna be able to trade two of our mini mares for a pony that'd be good for kids to ride.(eventually) He's only two right now and I don't want to start him that early.
I may have found a mare that'd be good for lessons this year though. She's 8-10 yrs old, 13hh (not quite sure on that), and half TWH. Supposedly kid ridden, etc. Thinking about going to look at her sometime. I really need a lesson horse and I hope this is a good candidate for the job.
I didn't get to explain my quote earlier about the "church & the car".
I hope you are old enough to understand this without feeling offened.
I am a Baptist believer and I feel one should act "Christian" and not "advertize" that their religion.
It really is a shame when people feel the need to state their name and follow it with "I'm a Christian", that right there is just soo wrong.
Again, I hope I did not offend you by my additional thoughts. I am a mother of two and I some times forget that I am talking to younger folks.

Hello Nicole and welcome.
Nice to "meet" you, my name is Stacy. I found this website by mistake and have enjoyed viewing it and making new friends.
I have three very spoiled extended family members, one buckskin (16yrs), my favorite q.h (8yrs) and a appy mare (8yrs).
My blog states that we are heading out with the two geldings for a weekend camping trip, this year we are not the rookies!hehehe They are predicting great fall-like weather here in Missouri.
I hope to hear from you soon,
Stacy D.
Thanks. I love your pony that it your profile pic. What a cutie!!!!
