Likes My favorite horse breeds are the Appaloosa and Quarter horse. I love animals and spend more time with them then I do with humans. I like to help the abused and underfed horses at the rescue.
Dislikes People who abuse their animals or think they are taking care of them when they really aren't doing it properly.and I hate people who breed their horse just to have a baby and then never do anything with the horse, except let it stand in the field even though it is old enough to be ridden.
Hobbies Horseback riding with friends, hanging out with friends, Basketball, and vollenteering at the horse rescue.
Vices I am very shy, unless the person is a horse person, then I'll talk to them because I have something in common with them.
Heroes Clinton Anderson and my grandpa who passed away in 2004.

My horse died January 1, 2008

On December 31, 2007 (Monday), I took my horse Buckaroo for a trail ride and he acted perfectly normal. I fed him that night and he ate all his hay, grain and alfalfa cubes. I checked on him around 2 a.m. when I got home from a party and threw him some more hay in his run in shed and he was fine, no signs, symptoms or anything. Tuesday morning I woke up to a neighbor knocking on my door and Yelling somethings wrong with Buck. I threw on a coat and mud boots and ran outside in my pajamas. He was dead in the run in shed. I was so shocked at first I couldn't hardly cry. It happened so fast and he had no signs or anything, ate all his food the day before and acted fine on our ride. The lady at the rescue I vollenteer for said it was probably a heart attack or an anyerism because he was around 25 years old or so.

Anyway, I miss him so much and I think about him every day and I wonder if it was my fault he's dead or if it was just his time to go to heaven. I cry every night wondering if he colicked and I didn't get to him in time, or if I gave him bad hay or something. I just miss him so much.

    My horse life

Hi, I'm Kristina, I'm 19 years old and I love horses, which is why I'm here and a member of HORSECITY.COM. I trail ride western style. I own one 24 year old Appaloosa gelding named Buckaroo Dreams. I vollenteer at a local horse rescue called  the "Equine Rescue League of Southern Indiana Inc." and we rescue abused, neglected and starved horses. I love all animals and will voice my opinion when I see someone abusing an animal. I love to watch Clinton anderson's tv shows and am a huge fan of what he does. I also love to play basketball, go horseback riding with friends, read horse books and magazines, and be anywhere that the horses are and I will spend most of the day around horses. I love the country life and would never move back to the city unless I have to. I only listen to country music and when someone plays rap or rock music it drives me nuts. Thats just a little about my country lifestyle.
