Hi there. my friend has a horse he bought a few months ago.

We found out he had at least 8 teeth taken out...why we don't knowbut he has his front teeth and a few in the back....i think....so anyways he has been hard to handle with the type of bit we have in his mouth...What i want to know is does the horse need those teeth in ought of tohandle better with a bit in his mouth?everything is so loose and how can we make it better for him as he is constantly mouthing the bit and the outside shanks....poor thing...he eats wekk and his weight is great but we don't know why the teeth came out?no overbite...hope someone can help or maybe tell us something to do with a bit arrangement
