About Me
As a single mother I raised two boys, one lives in New Jersey with his lovely wife of 3 years. My other son died at 22 years old when he was shot after celebrating his birthday with friends. As an "empty-nester" my children at home now are my 4 dogs. I love the Boxer and Cavalier King Charles dog breeds, and have worked with dogs for over 25 years in many capacities including shelter worker, ACO assistant, HSUS Adoption Counsler, President of Tulsa Boxer Rescue organization for 3 years, CUR run participant, home visit representative, and more... I've loved horses my whole life, took a few lessons when I was 12, and owned a registered Paint gelding when I was 15. Reading, traveling, watching movies, camping, fishing, exploring, hiking, rafting, canoing, horseback riding, and so many more things...are my interest.
Music
Any music, at various times depending on my mood, I can appreciate.
Movies
Movies are my passion. I would love to be a movie critic, although I wouldn't be good at it because there aren't many I don't enjoy.

Hi Adena, Just got password back to reply and add you to Friends. Are you in, oops, my dog just put his paw on the computer keys and had to start over, good ole Rocky. Now, are you in Oklahoma? How many horses do you have? I have 2 Missouri Fox Trotters, both 14, one red roan gelding, Joel in the pic on my site, and one flea-bitten grey mare, Boo. Had Joel nearly 2 years now since getting out of horses for about 8 years. Boo I just got a month ago. What a disaster that was at first. She was nothing the individual said she was, may warm up and be OK but NOT the child and hubby safe horse she was supposed to be. Drove 1300 miles round trip and got to try her one day, she was fussy but had just weaned a foal & it was still across the fence from her so thought that was the issue. Get her home and find out she is scared to death to go out alone, and I was VERY specific on that point since I have to keep both horses ridden so hubby can go on occasion. What a pain. I took her out once alone and took me an hour to go 1 1/2 miles and back. She doesn't holler or anything just terrified of anything that moves or she hasn't seen. Joel was kinda like but he just went ahead after getting scared and all she wants is home and safety, & Joel. Maybe she'll get better in time. Other than that tho she's a sweetheart on the ground and is not pushy or fussy alone. Just love these folks that will sell anything to anyone and say whatever it takes to git er done. Bottom line tho, I've had horses for over 50 years and in the end it was my decision to buy her. I felt so sorry for her, ribs showing, backbone sticking up 2 inches and you could see where hips, croup and back connected. Feet long and needing a trim bad, at least they are solid. Better go now, got grandkids tonite and grampa isn't home from deer hunting yet. I shot mine last Sat. so didn't go, worked on putting doors on Polaris RZR instead. Get back to me when you can.
