She has got a huge! Fear of loading, becuase the people before me tried to force load her, and she ended up flipping and getting stuck in the fence and cutting herself, and instead of slowly doing it or giving up they brought out the whip and kept try, So she is scared of loading and whipps. Although she is getting better, but the only reason I even got her to my house, was becuase we lived close enough that we had the vet come out and drug her for us. He even helpped walk her down the road. The only other issues she has is she is scared of little kida, because at the house she was at they had little kids that would throw stuff at her like pincones and other stuff. She also flips when saddled, but she is almost over that. Slowly I am gaining her trust, and we are working things out. I have gotten on her back ,and she trustes me a lot more then when I first got her, it may only take a few more months, but I do not mind the wait. I feel really bad though, becuase when I got her she skinny, and scared of everything. She is much better now, she is nosey and everytime someone comes into our drive way she is right at the fence with her nose over as far as she can and wants to say Hello, to everyone like a normal horse. I am so very proud of how much she has overcome on her own in 5 short months. |
