    well hello everyone, iam new here and new to horses, iam just looking for friends that love horses too, i have a 10 month old quater/walker filly, she is a spoiled baby and treat hound, and my mother in law has a morgan/walker gelding,he is 12 yrs old, right now we are trying to raise funds to get his surgery done we rescued him he was under weight, the people who had him didnt know anything about him, he is having problems with his stifle joint locking up on him, our vet said he needs surgery to fix it, so we are running a rafle on 3 afgans, handmade to raise the money for his surgery, it interested email me, thanks , and hope tomeet new friends,

    to everyone who left a comment on my mother in laws horse walt the tickets are 7 dollars a chance, we have added some more things to the raffle, she does woodburningpics, and she has them up to go to the surgery is going to run us about 400 the vet said if you guys go alex brown racing site and look for help for rescued ky horse you can see the afgans and wood burning pics, and then if you want to donate you can call our vet, and then email mountainrain95@yahoo.com,thanks everyone,he is haveing trouble more and more with this we need to get it done so he can have a pain free life,we love him so much,

    Sounds like a good cause, Vet expenses can get real costly, I spent 2,000 in two weeks with my mule and his eye, But it is all woth it at least to me. Keep me up to date on his progression I did't know they could fix a stifle joint. Talk again later

    Wow that sounds like a great idea. How much is a ticket? I had a horse that had problems in his stifle joint we ended up put him down. Our vet never said anything about surgery. That was the worst day of my life ever and that was ten years ago. I wish you the best of luck raising money for the surgery for your horse. Brenda in Colorado.
